Saving a Buck

I thought I'd be smart and save a buck or two when buying toilet paper. Wrong choice. I usually buy the red Charmin, but for some odd reason picked up Angel Soft. Um, Soft? That stuff chaps my ass. Okay, I know blogging about toilet paper may not be chic or whatever, but I thought it was funny. I picked the pack thinking it was another brand, of which the name continues to escape me. And I was sorely disappointed. But we have about 6 rolls left to use up before that red Charmin can save our bums. So much for saving a buck.

Okay, I promise something of more substance soon. ;) Hang in there.

LOL! You were "sorely disappointed" Good pun!

You could always find a local Viking/Bears/Cowboys fan and TP their yard! ;)

You know what kills me about this post? I'VE DONE THE SAME THING.

In fact, I am expressly forbidden from buying TP, as I cannot correctly choose it.

Glad to know I'm not alone :)

My inlaws buy that one-ply cheap crap that feels like it was thinly shaved of the side of a tree. E told his dad that they needed to splurge and buy some paper that didn't rip you to pieces, and his dad said they buy it because 2 ply stops the toilet. E countered that he uses twice the amount he should to combat the 1 ply-ness of it so splurge already.

Only the best in tp for us! Live and learn.

I have done this same thing before. We usually buy the cottonelle w/ aloe (the green package) but I accidentally bought cottonelle ultra in the purple package and my husband almost had a heart attack over it... I personally couldn't tell the difference between the two varities of the same brand but apparently he can...
