We have progress

We've made some progress on the eating front with Ariana. Whew. The appt with the therapist is this Wed, of course. Damn kids always start to get better right at the doc appt don't they.

Here's what has been on the menu for the last, gulp, month:
pudding
gogurt (but she won't eat yogurt out of the cup, {shaking head})
pediasure
pediasure shakes
fudge pops

Here's what she ate Fri & Sat:
nibbled on an oreo cookie
candy corn (V-day, not old stanky Christmas corn)
fruit roll-up
powdered sugar mini donuts
cheeze it crackers

Everything she ate is pretty much able to be mixed with her spit, which is how she eats it. She takes a small bite and then mixes it up (taking forever!) before she swallows it. We were awed, quite frankly. None of the freaking out she was doing before when it came to foods. Although she'll still have a small freak out about more solid foods. But we figure we'll take it one food and one day at a time.

The day that we don't have to think about this cannot come too soon.

Yikes, that's so tough. Is it a stage, or an actual phobia?

HOpefully it'll slowly keep getting better.
