I would not want to suffer endlessly in pain, but I would rather die slowly and know it was coming than to be hit head on and be gone in a flash. It's scary to think about really though isn't it?
Good question. It depends on the circumstances and who's all involved. If the kids are little, then I'd choose to suffer & linger so they can have better closure and say things they need to before I go. If they're older, and I'm old and have lived a full life, then sudden is OK. Also, it depends how much pain I'd be in and how good the drugs were they were giving me to get through it! ;)

Don't know. Probably just go quickly. I need to think about this more.
This is something I could ponder for hours. I'm thinking slowly so I could milk it - I'm a bit of a drama queen...
