You Are the Grand Prize Winner!

You've been selected to win a crib of crap!

Yes, I've been the lovely recipient of this a couple times now compliments of our younger child, who shall now be called the Poop Master. When he lays down for a nap, he decides to undress and poop in the crib. Looooovvvely. The other day he decided to take off his pooey diaper and play in it. (Jeez, isn't being a parent SOOO much fun) I called the father of this child at work and left a message stating that I didn't want him coming home to complain of a shitty day, as I was having the truly shitty day. ;) Usually when Jason hears of his son's exploits, I hear "I'm sorry dear" with a small chuckle.

Well, today's my turn to chuckle. Dried on poo. On the sheets, the crib railing, our child's bottom, hands, and face. YES! And I wasn't the lucky winner!

You can now address myself and Jason as....

LOL...Denise I think it must be a boy thing. Brett did that a few times, it was horrible! Katelyn never, who would have thought that would be a good idea to take your diaper off an play with whatever was inside it! YUCK! I could only laugh then because otherwise I would have cried! I feel your pain, stink and nastiness...I finally resorted to throwing everything away the last time it happened!

Thankfully, none of mine have ever done the whole 'play with your poop' thing. I think I would have puked scrubbing dried on poo off of every surface in a room. You're a brave woman...unlucky, but brave!

Sadly, my mother has *several* photos of a young Heather doing the exact same the thing! *hangs head in utter shame*

I think I would rather die than clean crap off a crib...the horror!

These are the times where I think that parenting should definitely be a paid job. I have only had to deal with one of these situations once and it wasn't even for my own child. I was watching my friend's two children and her son took off a poopy diaper and then continued to smear it up to his elbows and into the white carpet that was in his bedroom (who puts white carpet in a kid's room anyway?)

I have the answer to your dilemna - pull-ups and zip-up footie jammies. It was like dressing DJ in a straight jacket. He never did figure out how to get to the poop dressed in that ensemble. ;)

Could also be because the one time he did try playing with poop, he had to clean up his own mess. Not so much fun to play with it when you have to scrub it off your headboard yourself. ;)
